  33.     Joe =is= one of the Kermit developers.  Specifically, he maintains
  34.     MS (DOS) Kermit.

  37.     above is preferable to the alternative of no one inquiring (as a
  38.     result of no one being interested).  A pointer to a (brief) web page
  39.     containing the current status of the project might be preferable.
